The scenery changes dramatically. We take a walk through the tree ferns. We marvel at the ‘ancient relics’ Myrtle Beach trees. These trees provide perfect canopy shade. They come from a time when Australia was part of Gondwanaland. Take a deep breath of the fresh air. Then, we take a relaxing drive to the dramatic Shipwreck Coast.
The Twelve Apostles
Embarking on a magnificent journey from the enchanted forest’s lush greenery to the Southern Ocean’s vast expanse, we arrive at the awe-inspiring Port Campbell National Park, where the legendary 12 Apostles stand tall and proud. Along the way, we pass through farmlands and stop in the country town of Colac. Guests can grab dinner at their own expense, as we are expected to return home in Melbourne around 8:30 pm.
