Beautiful experience at the 3-Day-Tour from Melbourne to Adelaide Just finished my 3-day-tour in Adelaide and it was a great experience. Our tour guide "J-dog" alias Janet was the best. Always in good spirit, singing, she was very knowledgeable about everything, was super friendly and a great pal. The Tour was great, beautiful sceneries along The Great Ocean Road, many animals in the National Parks, we saw koalas, kakadoos, kookaburras, kangagooes etc.and the bushwalks were nice too. The accomodations were great, only 3 people in a room, the food was amazing. I also met some nice people, even from Switzerland. I can only recommend this tour, I loved it.
Day 1
Alice Springs - Uluru / Ayers Rock
Start off your adventure at Alice Springs early in the morning and head towards Uluru, making stops at Mt Connor (often mistaken for Uluru) and Curtin Springs for refreshments before we reach our lunch camp. Opt to be picked up from either Ayers Rock Airport or Ayers Rock Campground as you start your journey to the outback. The cultural centre provides an educational platform that enlightens you about the rich history of the Red Centre and its importance in Aboriginal culture. Walk around the hill on a Mutitjulu waterhole tour to interact with Uluru directly, which will teach you about sacred rock art sites but, most importantly, how it came into being in ancient times. Kantju Gorge is one of the best waterfalls in Central Australia, and it also has a significant elders’ cave. To end your day, have supper after seeing the sunset from above Uluru and have dinner there.
Highlights:
- Ayers Rock (Uluru)
- Central Australia’s Indigenous Centre of Learning & Cultural
- Unveiling the Sacred Art Rocks Sites at Ayers Rock
- Kuniya Piti (varying seasonally), Kantju Gorge, and Mutitjulu Waterhole.
- Watching Uluru sunset from a lookout point.

Day 2

After exploring Kata Tjuta, proceed to Yulara Airport for your next flight arrivals (or extend your stay at our safari camp for an additional $100 per person). The expected drop-off time is around noon.
