Google & TripAdvisor Reviews

As this tour is for people who enjoy getting out and active in the great outdoors – think hiking, camping and general exploration of remote natural areas.
Fitness Level: Essentially, you just need to be happy walking between 3 and 12 kilometres a day on a mix of uneven tracks, rocky terrain and weather conditions. Some walks will have a bit steeper incline or a few rocky bits, but that’s about it.
Mobility Requirements: There’s no upper age limit for this tour, but obviously, you do need to be in good enough shape to hike, swim, get in and out of your swag at night without assistance, and generally be able to look after yourself.
Medical Considerations: If you’ve got an existing medical condition, an injury, or any mobility issues, it’s a good idea to get the all-clear from your doctor before you book. And if you do need to tell us about any of this, please let us and your guide know before we set off.
Fit for Travel Declaration: Everyone on the tour must complete the online check-in and the mandatory Fit for Travel Declaration at least 24 hours before we depart.
Accommodation & Camping
This is a proper camping trip – we’re talking swags, campfires and helping out with the camp duties like cooking, setting up camp and packing up the gear.
Accommodation-wise, we’ll be staying in a mix of national park campsites and holiday parks, all with pretty basic toilet and shower facilities.
You’ll be sleeping in a traditional Aussie swag with a comfy mattress.
Sleeping Bag & Pillow: Don’t forget to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow for the duration – or if you’ve got an old sleeping bag just collecting dust, consider donating it to a good cause.
Weather Conditions: Western Australia’s south-west can throw just about any weather at you at any time of the year, so just pack for everything, from warm to chilly and make sure you’ve got some rain gear to hand. We do have shelter tents if it decides to chuck it down, though.
- Five nights of swag camping at carefully selected campgrounds with basic facilities
- Five breakfasts, one lunch and five dinners
- Comfortable air-conditioned minibus transport
- Maximum group size of 20 travellers
- National Park entry fees
- Guided sightseeing and scheduled activities
- Experienced local adventure guide throughout the tour
Tour Schedule
The tour starts in Perth, and you’ll be catching a very early bus at 6:00 am on the first day of your trip and getting back to Perth at 7:00 pm on the sixth day. Because the bus departs so early, we recommend arriving in Perth the day before your tour starts.
Dietary Requirements
Even though we can usually cater for common dietary needs with a bit of notice, it’s always a good idea to let us know about any allergies or special dietary requirements when you book, so we can sort out any arrangements before we leave.
Luggage Allowance
Each person can bring 1 soft travel bag or backpack weighing no more than 15 kg, plus a small daypack for personal gear. We prefer soft luggage because it’s a bit easier to fit inside the bus.
Minimum Passenger Numbers
This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to run; if the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be given the option to take an alternative departure date or receive a full refund.
Booking Conditions
Just a heads-up: it’s super important that you read through the full Booking Terms and Conditions before you confirm your reservation.
