16 Day Best of East Coast Australia Comfort Tour from Sydney

*Solo travellers who book separately in Twin Share Accommodation will be paired with another solo passenger of the same gender.

The 16 Day Best of East Coast Australia Comfort Tour from Sydney isn’t your average hop-on, hop-off backpacker route. It’s a considered journey for curious, comfort-loving travellers — the kind who’d rather drink Hunter Valley shiraz than sleep in a noisy hostel bunk. I’m Paul Beames, a lifelong Aussie traveller and founder of Get Lost Travel Group, and I’ve done this stretch of coastline more times than I can count. Still, every run from Sydney to Cairns delivers something new — another pod of dolphins off Byron, another golden sunrise over Cape Trib.
This is small group adventure travel at its best: boutique accommodation, local guides, and interactive cultural experiences from the country’s oldest rainforests to its most famous harbour. Whether you’re a solo traveller or a couple looking for some well-earned comfort, this is a trip for connection — with the land, its people and your fellow travellers.
