  • The tour starts at Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) at 2:00 p.m. on the first day, where we will meet our guide, who will take us throughout this journey. AAT Kings provides transfers between Alice Springs and Yulara, arriving by 1:00 p.m. Another option is to take a flight to Uluru Airport in the morning and catch a complimentary transfer bus to the resort. Your Guide will meet you there at 2:00 p.m.
  • The tour ends in Adelaide on the eighth day, usually around 6:00 p.m.
  • To fully savour this magical experience, outdoor activities are encouraged, such as hiking and being prepared for inclement weather difficulties.
  • Adapt yourself to extreme climate conditions
  • Hikers should possess moderate physical fitness and be able to walk between three and twelve kilometres on specific days of their journey. These walks may have different surfaces and exposure to humidity levels.
  • At times, participants will need to cover long distances, sometimes through rugged grounds or even across water bodies.
  • Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs when booking (groceries are provided except snacks, soft drinks or alcohol).
  • This company provides fresh products; however, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are not included in our package.
  • Each passenger is permitted to bring one backpack or soft travel bag weighing no more than 15 kg, as well as a small piece of hand baggage.
  • For the passengers to follow COVID-Safe guidelines, they should do an online check-in and self-declare themselves ‘Fit for Travel’ regarding their health at least 24 hours before departure. This is compulsory.
  • For health safety purposes, passengers must complete a self-declaration form called ‘Fit for Travel’ in order to confirm that they do not have any sicknesses. It must be done within 24 hours of the scheduled flight’s departure.
  • A minimum number of participants are required to operate tours. All payments will either be transferred to a future departure date or refunded if it is cancelled due to insufficient numbers.
  • The stipulated minimum attendance criteria for this occasion were not met, leading to the cancellation, and the payment received will be transferred accurately.
  • If you find out that the fixed dates of your booking are unsuitable, then you can get cash back for your tour price in full amount.

Camping

  • This camping expedition requires passenger involvement in things such as cooking meals and packing up campsites if need be.
  • Different national parks with basic toilet and shower facilities provide camping experiences during this trip itinerary.
  • Single swags or Aussie Bed Rolls are common materials used for sleeping arrangements while on camping trips. Built from thick canvas with a built-in mattress included, single swags require travellers to bring their personal sleeping bags as well as pillows.
  • During the purchase process, customers can select deluxe double swags, which cost an additional $300 each, accommodating two occupants. These include high-density foam beds and mesh windows. Limited in availability due to its size, it will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • In case of bad weather conditions, two people can use a three-person dome tent.

Embark on a thrilling journey along the ever-transforming Oodnadatta Track, an untamed dirt road that dances with the whims of the weather. If the road is deemed unsafe or sections are closed, our Guide may adjust the itinerary and take an alternative route. Suppose it is determined that travelling on the track is dangerous. In that case, the itinerary for day three will be modified to include visits to Port Augusta, Coober Pedy via Stuart Highway, Josephine’s Kangaroo Orphanage & Gallery, Coober Pedy township, Umoona Opal Mine & Museum, and an overnight stay in Coober Pedy.
