A dormitory with shared rooms and facilities costs $1410 per person 18+ years. Our extended touring program has restrictions for children under six years. The Perth to Exmouth tour departs Perth at 7:25 am and travels north along the coast. The Indian Ocean will provide lunch. A tour guide will lead a walk through the rock formations of the Pinnacles Desert. Before spending the night in Kalbarri, the journey will pass through Geraldton.
Meals include lunch and dinner. Accommodation is provided at Kalbarri Backpackers YHA, with a dorm room and shared bathroom facilities. The driving distance is 575km. The hike distance is 2km, with a grade of 1-2.
We travelled from Kalbarri to Shark Bay
Today, you can explore the stunning Kalbarri National Park. Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Nature’s Window as you embark on a thrilling hike to witness the breathtaking rock formation. Embark on the spectacular Z Bend trail and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of Murchinson Gorge. Then, as the sun sets, venture towards the captivating Shark Bay and marvel at the beach adorned with a stunning sea of white cockle shells. Tonight, your accommodation will be at Monkey Mia.
Meals provided are breakfast and dinner. Experience the ultimate cozy accommodations at the RAC Monkey Mia Resort Backpacker Dorms or a similar option with shared bathroom facilities. Optional activity includes Kalbarri Abseiling Z-Bend. The driving distance is 450km, and the hike distance is 3km with a difficulty grade of 3-4.
Embark on an exhilarating journey and conquer the Kalbarri National Park gorge walls with the thrilling Kalbarri Absei! Prior experience is optional, as you will receive on-site training. All necessary equipment will be provided. Capture memorable moments on your camera, as non-participating guests can take photos for you. This thrilling experience can be arranged during your tour.
We travelled from Monkey Mia to Coral Bay
Get ready to experience the most incredible wildlife encounter in Australia this morning! The Monkey Mia Dolphins swim to shore and get hand-fed in knee-deep water. Take some time to relax on this stunning coastline before visiting the Stromatolites. The Stromatolites are rock formations made by a single-celled microbe. They are still alive and believed to be 3.7 billion years old. Tonight, you will journey to Coral Bay and stay overnight on the edge of the Ningaloo Reef.

Today is the fourth day in Coral Bay
Discover the breathtaking wonders of Ningaloo Reef in Coral Bay! Snorkel in the turquoise water near the beach. Enjoy the beach and sun. Travel to Exmouth in the evening. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Experience the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the Potshot Hotel Resort Backpacker Dorms, or choose a similar option with shared bathroom facilities to make the most of your stay. Guests can swim with Manta Rays, snorkel Ningaloo Reef, or take glass-bottom boat tours. AttentiBookingking Whaleshark Swims on day four is impossible as they swim back after the bus departs from Coral Bay.
The driving distance for this day is 155km, with a Grade 1 difficulty level.

Embark on a captivating 2-hour journey, where you’ll be treated to a mesmerising glass viewing and have the opportunity to explore a vibrant snorkel site. The 3-hour trip includes glass viewing, snorkelling, and visiting the turtle sanctuary. See turtles feeding and coming up for air in the shallows. The skipper can try to get turtles under the glass. Exmouth
Today, you will explore Cape Range National Park. Get ready to be blown away by the awe-inspiring splendour of majestic limestone mountains, dramatic canyons, and an unbelievable 50km stretch of untouched sandy shores. Don’t miss Turquoise Bay, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, and Milyering Visitors Center. The tour finishes in the late afternoon, making it an incredible way to end your Perth to Exmouth tour.
The meals provided are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Choose to stay at the Potshot Hotel Resort Backpacker Dorms or a similar option with shared bathroom facilities for a cozy and affordable experience.
Embark on an extraordinary aquatic adventure with two incredible options: the Whaleshark Swim (Mar-Sep) or the Humpback Swim (Aug-Oct). But remember, pre-booking is an absolute must! The driving distance is 135km, and the hike distance is 1km with a grade 1-2 difficulty level.

Exmouth Dive Centre offers seasonal swims with Whalesharks and Humpback Whales (March to August). Snorkelling is available, but only for competent swimmers.

Begin your adventure with a breathtaking snorkelling experience, immersing yourself in the vibrant coral gardens and encountering mesmerising marine life, including graceful turtles and majestic reef sharks.
Next, they’ll embark on an exhilarating quest to spot humpback whales and awe-inspiring whale sharks, aided by the watchful eyes of a spotter plane. Witness the humpback whale swim, where the graceful creatures dive and frolic at their whim. If they’re not cooperative, the aircraft will find another group. All equipment is provided, including wetsuits if needed. Enjoy morning and afternoon tea, as well as a buffet-style lunch.
