As you might have seen on our Facebook, the 14 February marked 18 years since we first began offering tours to Uluru in Australia's Red Centre.
Our Managing Director Don Wait had this to say in a recent blog post, and we also have some great 18th Birthday Specials which you can read about on our Offers Page. In addition to this, we have some exciting additions to the itineraries of our Classic 4WD range of Uluru Tours which you can read about below.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of the Indigenous Maruku Cultural experience to all of our Uluru Red Centre Classic 4WD Tours program in the 17/18 season.
Maruku is owned and operated by the Anangu people and will provide our clients with a once in a lifetime, authentic Indigenous cultural experience.
Over 90 minutes guests will participate in a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole at the base of Uluru, guided by an Anangu custodian who will tell the stories of this unique landscape and explaining the connection between the art, the culture and the connection to the land. Followed by a hands-on dot painting session, this experience will give an exclusive insight into the meaning behind the art and the traditional Anangu culture.
Endless Star Dining Experience
Adding further value to all of our Classic 4WD Tours in the Red Centre, we are also very excited to advise the inclusion of our "Endless Star" dining experience at our Uluru campsite.
This is a delicious evening meal under the stars lit by candlelight and topped off with wine, which provides the group with the perfect opportunity to bond and enjoy the company of their fellow travellers.
