Private Group Tours

An Outback Safari of Your Own Making

Walking Country was established by Wayoutback Australian Safaris in response to the growing demand by travellers for unique, specially designed tours for those that wanted an experience like no other.

We are based in Australia’s Northern Territory so we believe we have a comprehensive understanding of the geographical area, the Aboriginal people, not to mention a network of contacts for specialist requirements such as Aboriginal Hosts and Communities, Bush Tucker, Geology, Cattle Stations, etc.

Special Interest – Whether it’s geology, botany, Aboriginal culture and art or the huge range of fauna, our 4-wheel drives can get you to the right place for an experience to remember.

Educational – From school trips right through to university study tours, tell us what the mission is and we will deliver.

Business Organisations – What better way to build Team Leadership, motivation and bond people within an organisation than a trip into the heart of the outback. We have catered to groups from some of Australia’s largest corporations, so understand what can really make your business adventure tour “go off”.

Business Incentive Groups – Make your next Incentive group stand out from the ordinary. We put together incentive tours that can include everything from remote camping to luxury outback accommodation, transport on everything from camels to helicopters, fine dining under the stars to trying “bush tucker”. We can also offer a range of experiences with Aboriginal hosts to make your incentive a never to be forgotten experience.

Itinerary Planning

With our extensive contacts and experience, we can help organise your whole itinerary from start to finish. Everything from your menu requirements (including special dietary needs) beverages, accommodation, site selection, plus any other adventure experiences you may want to include, just let us know and we will do the rest.

Special Access Areas

Wayoutback has exclusive rights to explore two of Central Australia’s most famous cattle stations between Uluru and Watarrka (Kings Canyon).

We can take your group right off the beaten track into true 4-wheel drive only areas where you will realise the remoteness and isolation of the area, see some amazing wildlife (Red Kangaroos, Dingos and Camels) and stunning scenery – all typical of the desert/arid lands of the Red Centre.

We have established unique bush camps on these properties that are absolutely superb for sitting around the campfire with bush tucker and a night under the southern stars.

Accommodation

Being great fans of bush camping and sleeping under the stars, our main focus is on 4WD adventure tours. We can however, cater to any accommodation requirements, from tents to 4 or 5 star Hotels. It could be a mixture of both so you can break up your trip and enjoy the best of both worlds.

Simply let us know and we can organise the rest.
