As a keen traveller you are no doubt more than aware it's been a pretty tough time for the tourism industry with the Novel Coronavirus outbreak being covered so closely by the media. Australia is still a safe travel destination with a relatively small number of confirmed cases and a comprehensive containment plan - only 126 coronavirus cases at the time compared to over 14,000 cases of the common flu already in 2020!
We are very much operating tours as normal and following our standard health and hygiene processes. This includes having hand sanitiser on board our tour buses and 4WDs, all vehicle surfaces are being wiped down regularly as well as the usual post-tour clean. Our sleeping bags and linen are all hot washed after each and every tour. We are asking our customers to use common sense - wash your hands regularly, cover your mouth when you cough or your nose when you sneeze and be honest about your health and if unwell please consider the wellbeing of other fellow travelers!
Tourism Australia or the Australian Government’s Department of Health have updates regarding coronavirus and any travel implications here and here.
Be safe. Be well. And we look forward to welcoming you on your Northern Territory Tour!
