Alice Station B&B is the newest B&B in town. Small and stylish it’s a fabulous place to spoil yourself after a few big days of touring.
The location is perfect - a spectacular natural setting in the heart of Alice Springs. Its very, very outback and very special!
Surrounded by huge rocky outcrops, the B&B is a haven for wildlife. Wild kangaroos and native birds are seen daily in the gardens. From the moment you step inside, the feeling is of total tranquillity. But despite the natural setting, the B&B is only a short walk from downtown. Tours pick up and drop off from here daily. It is a brilliant base for visiting downtown Alice Springs and beyond.
For architecture fans, the house is unique. It’s the only house in Alice Springs constructed from recycled Ghan railway sleepers. The unusual materials add an environmentally friendly touch while giving the house its stylish outback character. The clever design gives a sense of space and light throughout. The 4 bedrooms all have their own private bathroom and are tastefully decorated. All rooms feature local Aboriginal art. Exposed wooden beams throughout the house add to the charm.
A healthy breakfast is included in your price and is served daily overlooking the gardens. Most days you can watch the kangaroos as you eat!
The bilingual (English/French) Australian hostess is a mine of information on things to see and do around Alice Springs. Guests can expect a very warm welcome but equally, total respect for their privacy.
