This 3 day Northern Territory adventure tour offers a classic, affordable Australian travel experience. Paddle along the peaceful waters of Katherine Gorge, soak in the Mataranka Thermal Pools, stop for a cold drink at the historic Daly Waters Pub (home of Australia’s first international airport!) and explore the precariously balanced Devils Marbles. This Northern Territory tour gives you the chance to see Australian Outback travel icons, learn about indigenous culture, and sleep in bush camps just like travellers have done for centuries. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the people and landscapes of the Outback - there’s no better way to travel Central Australia.

Day 1 (Lunch / Dinner)
You will be collected from your Darwin accommodation at approximately 6.00am for our adventure tour from the ‘Territory’ to Alice Springs. Travel to Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park which is owned by the Jawoyn Aboriginal people. Ancient sandstone has been carved away by the Katherine River to create a deep and picturesque gorge. Spend the afternoon in the park - you may like to take a boat cruise or paddle a canoe (seasonal) through the peaceful water (both optional and at an additional cost). Then, travel to our campsite nearby where you will spend the night.
Day 2 (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Start the day with a soak in the Mataranka Thermal Pools, a lush oasis fringed by paperbark trees. No trip to the ‘Territory’ is complete without a visit to the Daly Waters Pub, an important watering hole for explorers, travellers and drovers in days gone by and now a great spot for a cold beer, a bit of history and a ‘fair dinkum outback experience’! Travel to the historic Banka Banka Cattle Station where we camp for the night. Camping at a cattle station is an authentic Outback travel experience you soon won’t forget.
Day 3 (Breakfast / Lunch)
Travel through Tennant Creek and then further along the track towards the Devils Marbles (Karlu Karlu). Marvel at this collection of gigantic granite boulders which are magically balanced on top of one another. Later in the day we cross the Tropic of Capricorn (only 20% of the Northern Territory lays south of this point), then a short time later arrive in Alice Springs where this Outback adventure tour concludes.
