Day 1 (Dinner)
Welcome to the first day of your East Coast adventure.
What better way to start your tour and get to know your group than by cruising Sydney Harbour by Catamaran, a perfect way to set the pace for the coming 6 days. Cruise by the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera house as the city's day draws to an end. Afterwards we head to our night’s accommodation for a welcome dinner and a few drinks. Here you will learn more about your trip. Spend the night in your provided accommodation and dream about your unfolding adventure.
Day 2 (Breakfast)
Today we spend a full day at one of New South Wales' most picturesque destinations, the World Heritage Blue Mountains. Home to the famous Three Sisters rock formations your guide will take you on a walk down from the lookout to witness the vast land around you.
In the afternoon we make our way to the mountain village of Katoomba for our overnight stay.
Day 3 (Breakfast)
Today we focus on the coastal areas that have made NSW a holiday getaway for Sydney-siders for the past century. We firstly travel to Port Stephens to witness the largest sand dune system in Australia. The bay here also happens to have over 80 resident dolphins, so we have included a 1.5 hour dolphin cruise which has 99% chance of seeing dolphins in the wild. After lunch we then travel onto Port Macquarie where we visit the Koala Hospital. This hospital established in 1973 to treat sick and injured koalas is also involved in research with the University of Sydney into Koala diseases. With the exception of the supervisor the hospital is staffed by volunteers and by a charitable organisation, the Koala Preservation Society Australia. Your entry fee here goes towards this noble work.
● Port Stephens Wild Dolphin Cruise ● Port Macquarie Koala Hospital
Day 4 (Dinner)
This morning it’s onto our beach camp on the Coffs Coast – where the Great Dividing Range meets the ocean. It encompasses 90 kilometres of beaches which make it one of the best places in Australia to learn how to surf.
If you choose to try your hand at ‘hanging ten’ with an optional surf lesson, this will take place this afternoon. If you would rather watch the waves (and the new surfers) roll in then laze about our beachside accommodation or walk along the beach for sunset. Overnight at our surf camp.
Day 5 (Breakfast / Dinner)
Following breakfast we head to the famous hippie town of Byron Bay where your guide will take you on a town tour including a walk up to the famous lighthouse. You will have most of the day to take in the relaxed vibe here.
We finish the day in the Queensland holiday capital, Surfers Paradise with a group dinner by the beach.
- Surfers Paradis
The sun rising over the Pacific Ocean is a sight everyone has to see once in their lifetime. Head to the beach to check out the waves before boarding our vehicle for the short journey onto Brisbane. It's here we say goodbye.
